And They’re Off!

I’m not sure exactly when it happened. Once upon a time, you could set the girls down in one spot and there they would stay for hours on end, entertained by a small plastic rattle or rubber teething ring. Now (and seemingly over night) when you set them down, they remain in that spot in exactly 0.65 seconds before something across the floor catches their eye.  And before you know it, they’re gone.

Whether it be down the hall, discovering new, unexplored territory…

…or chasing their new best friend, Cuddles the cat…

…Sienna and Rowan have discovered the art of crawling.  Even if it is more of the “inchworm / army crawl” technique, the girls are completely mobile! It’s pretty surreal to see them so agile when it seems like just yesterday when they couldn’t even roll over without a proper nudge from mommy or daddy.  Now, you just can’t take your eyes off them for more than a minute before they disappear, destined for some new adventure!

Jovie, on the other hand…well, she’s simply still content to remain in one place playing with her toys, giggling and babbling as she watches her silly sisters.

Don’t worry about her though, she still gets around juuust fine…

The Laundry Basket + an Old Belt = Free Ride…Jovie’s favorite, especially when there is a sister involved!

So now we are taking bets as to when they will start to walk.  What’s your guess??

  1. Just want to kiss their little necks. Don’t let them near the corn fields…they’ll be gone in a poof. Next thing you know, they’ll be at the golf course.
