Snapshots | Two Worlds

  • Guitar? Check.
  • Pedal Board? Check.
  • Amp? Check.
  • Double Stroller? Car Seats?

Um…what?

Last Sunday I played for the 5:00PM Worship at Lutheran Church of Hope for the first time in over three months. Playing guitar {and in Missy’s case, singing} at Hope used to be a weekly, if not multi-weekly occurrence.  From Sunday worship, to Sunday night Ignition, to Thursday night Immersion, to anything else in between that could use an electric guitarist {and vocalist}…we were there.

Then…we had triplets, as well as everything else that came with them. So as I unloaded my gear last week, I felt the obvious juxtaposition between my “former” life and new one was just too good not to capture. Maybe now that we’ve got a slightly better handle on this whole parenting thing, we can start getting back into the rotation.

You know…after the new/old house is demo’d, and our new house is designed & rebuilt…and then after we sell the town house…and after I take {and pass!!} the PE Exam in October…and after…
